I love taking care of animals — and bringing peace of mind to their humans. In fact, I love it so much that I switched careers to provide pet care. After 25 years in corporate communications, I'm now a full-time animal behaviorist and pet sitter.
I bring reliability, compassion, outstanding communication, and knowledge of the latest science behind animal well-being to my work. I treat each cat as a true individual, working to establish a strong bond based on their temperament and needs. Whether they’re shy or bold, snuggly or stand-offish, eager to play or more of a couch potato, I’m ready to meet them where they are. Success for me is all about building trust with cats and people alike.
Here are a few other things that set me apart:
Working with cats (and their people) is a calling for me, not a side hustle. You and your cat deserve a true cat-care professional. That’s me! I’m:
- Bonded and insured
- Certified in applied animal behavior through the University of Washington
- Trained in animal CPR
- Fear Free Certified
- A member of Pet Sitters International
- A former cat-matchmaking shelter volunteer
- Experienced with administering oral meds and AeroKat inhalers
I’m a solopreneur who cares about quality, not quantity. I purposefully keep my business small so I can work directly with every client and every cat, form a strong bond with them, and serve them based on their individual needs (and yes, quirks!).
I’m a skilled communicator. Before becoming a cat sitter and animal behaviorist, I spent two decades in corporate and nonprofit settings as a writer/editor on marketing/communication teams. You can count on clear, honest, comprehensive updates and interactions (and fun photos!) when you sign up to work with me.
